Prediction of academic performance based on learning style and critical thinking among medical students

This study aimed to understand the medical sciences students’ critical thinking (CT) and their learning styles investigate relationship between academic performance both mentioned variables. A descriptive analytical was conducted on 469 students in Ardabil University of Medical Sciences using Kolb's California's CT skills test (Form-B). Cumulative grade point average considered as performance. The data were analyzed with SPSS 18 Chi Square test, Independent t-test, one-way ANOVA Pearson correlation a significant level p<0.05 . mean 15.9±1.7 popular style among assimilative style. Results showed Significant performances total not found, but seen deductive skill only. Learning changed different semesters medicine dentistry from an abstract-reflexive concrete-active one. Using appropriate, active collaborative teaching methods can help improve students'
